Esports is now bigger than the film industry – and it’s still growing. Behind every major tournament and stream is a team of skilled professionals making it all happen. This course is your first step into that world.

You’ll get hands-on experience with the technical setup needed to deliver esports events, learn how to promote them through effective public relations, and develop your skills in casting and hosting – roles that are in high demand across the industry.

In our experience in order to be successful on this level of course you will need a GCSE in English at grade 3 (D) or above.

If you don’t meet the specific entry requirement, you can still apply for this course. Individual cases will be considered. The College can support you in achieving a level 2 qualification in maths and English.

You will be assessed through written and practical coursework, employer projects, group work, presentations, and analysis.

Upon successful completion of the course you may progress to:

Under exceptional circumstances, you may progress to the Level 5 Foundation Degree in Games Design and Production.
